Cooparation , culture, farming life , village project
Central Greece
We have a small farm. We have olives, legumes (chickpeas, lentils, fava), grain also DIY and housekeeping.
Things you can do depend on the season.
September we gather pomegranates in the garden. Plow the field. Pick grapes.
October until December we gather olives.
Lop off the trees and clean the garden. Prune the olive trees. Carrie legumes. Carrie and plant barley. Gather eggs. Feed the chickens.
Plant lentils.
January we sit in the fireplace:) and some extras also.
February plant chickpeas. Plant olives.
March and April cut the grass in the legumes.
In the summer we harvest, clean spare legumes, and water the olive trees.
Also, there are always things to do if you like to keep yourself busy and lend a helping hand. But only if you like.
Description
Everything is relevant because of the moving gypsy-free life schedule, so have no certainties like we don't have for you.
{the ONLY certainty is that the land is there (here) to visit without any help from us.. you are always welcome with your tent and our toilet and kitchen .}
While staying in my village, the traveler can get to know the village and possibly my people, the scene of Athens nearby that you can visit anytime and do some activities together.
Help would be appreciated in order to maintain the house and the garden. Also, any projects, like any DIY, etc. to make the house and the living more sustainable, could be with your help! Gardening, construction, paint jobs, farming, etc. would be great!
I spend most of my time on the property, with just some short trips to Athens.
Certifications: Organic olive oil, eggs, and legumes.

It was an amazing experience, the time I spent in Kapparelli with Pantellis. I learned a lot about Greece and about olive/olive oil production. The place is beautiful and it's rich in ancient History.
Pantellis has excellent values and is friendly. He's a very genuine person. He's also very attentive to others' needs.
The feeling of taking out the olives in the trees is very satisfying. We had nice meals. And it was the first time I swam in the Mediterranean Sea! In the Gulf of Corinth.
Thank you so much, Pantellis. And if you ever visit Lisbon, you have a place to stay!

We had such a great time with Pantelis. When we were not harvesting olives, he showed us around and told us a lot about the sights and the greek history. The harvest was a great experience and Pantelis was very patient with showing us how it’s done. After the work we had great and funny conversations with him and the other woofers while eating very delicious meals, his mom and dad cooked. All in all we had a great stay!

We stayed with Pantelis from Sunday till Thursday. We stayed in our RV in front of his house, we got electricity, water and could use the toilet and shower. We learned a lot about olive picking and Greece. As we were with two kids, we only worked half days, and the kids helped a part of that. He’s a great guy, he was nice with the kids, he told us much about Greece. After three days of picking we also visited the olive oil mill - it was really nice to see the whole proces. Our daughter LOVED the food his mother cooked: lentil soup and chickpeas (we are vegetarian). It was also nice to meet other travellers and to experience Greek village life.

Padelly is a friendly and accommodating host. During our time with him, we had the opportunity to explore Greek village life and, thanks to Padelly, the beautiful natural landscape. The work was fun and well-balanced. All in all, we felt very comfortable! Thanks!

We stayed with Pantelis for around one week and helped him with the olive harvesting. Pantelis was a great host. We harvested very relaxed some hours a day olives and the rest of the time Pantelis showed us a lot of wonderful places around the city. We enjoyed the time and are very grateful for the good time.
