The volunteering at this place was beyond marvelous. Where to begin... First of all, if you ever hesitate to come to this place ... don't, it'll be the best experience you'll ever have. George and the whole team were so welcoming, warm and kind to our group of 10 people (22 and 17 years olds). Thanks to them, we got to know the traditional ways of Cretean farmers and people in every aspect of their life. They gave us lessons and memories we will never forget. The food was delicious and the life advice is unforgettable. We helped everywhere where we could, but certainly where nature needed us at that moment. That means that every experience will be different and you will always learn about something relevant of that season. It was just amazing. The community that they build up there was inspiring and so warm to feel. I recommend you 100% to go to George and its team, no matter your situation, no matter your age! Everyone is so so welcome!

The experience at Pezoulia was a true gift. I met such welcoming people who treated us like family. Our days passed peacefully, in deep harmony with the surrounding nature. I am returning to Italy carrying with me the scents of aromatic herbs and so many memories of the people and the magic of the place. I would absolutely recommend this place! I was a first time woofer and I stayed for a month in June. Geraldine and Georgios were both very nice, they treated me like family. I worked with the animals in the evenings and mornings a bit, and before noon we did some other activities, sometimes painting trees, sometimes going shopping or helping Geraldine with her everyday activities. In the afternoon I was free. There is no wifi but mobile data works fine, and there is a lot of alone time, so if you visit, prepare a book or something as well. You will have your own space, there is a small accommodation, its a bedroom plus bathroom. The beach is a 20 minute walk away from the house. They don't eat meat very often, eggs and cheese sometimes, but mostly some veggie meal for lunch. The animals are adorable and the hosts are amazing, they help with everything, very energetic and always in a good mood, they enjoy life. I would absolutely recommend this place!

I spend a month at Ecogaia mainly taking care of the tomatoes but taking part more widely to the project of Natasa and Alex at the farm. It was very inspiring for me to see how the farm is working now after 10 years of activity, I was very impressed about all the recipes they created with their products, bravo, they are delicious. There I experimented to wake up early in order to work with the cooler weather we could have. I never worked too hard and the team was very chill with this. I stayed at the farm living with Alex and I never missed anything during my stay. I will remember for a long time the first tomato of my year (and all the one afterwards) soooo delicious, all the mushrooms I put on the soil to give it nutriments and last but not least the delicious stuffed peppers from Soula, the mother of Alex living also at the farm place. Annnnd last but not least these adorable kittens that were living around… sooo cute Εφχαριστω πολύ

Expérience incroyable aux côtés de spyros. Ce woofing a été riche en discussions, ou spyros prend le temps de passer un moment avec tout le monde, ouvert à pleins de débats, quelqu’un de très souriant, et en même temps très chaleureux. Je conseille vivement ce monastère aux côtés de spyros ! L’endroit est super beau en plus
