Είμαστε μια καλή παρέα 5 ατόμων από το ορεινό χωριό Χριστός.
Ο οικισμός Χριστός Ιεράπετρας, ένας ιστορικός αλλά εγκαταλελειμμένος σήμερα τόπος, υπήρξε για αιώνες κοιτίδα ζωής, παραγωγής και πολιτισμού.
Η περιοχή μας διαθέτει όλα τα φυσικά αγαθά που χρειάζεται ο άνθρωπος για να ζήσει αυτάρκης και αξιοπρεπώς:
νερό, δάσος, λάδι, μέλι, καθαρό αέρα, γόνιμη γη, ηρεμία.
Το όνομα BellVedere (όμορφη θέα) με το οποίο απαντά ο τόπος μας σε παλαιότερες αναφορές, συνοψίζει την ουσία αυτού που θέλουμε να ξαναγεννήσουμε:
έναν τόπο όμορφο, ζωντανό, λειτουργικό και συλλογικό.
Στόχος μας είναι να μετατρέψουμε τον Χριστό και το Σελάκανο σε πρότυπο βιώσιμης κοινότητας, ένα “ζωντανό εργαστήριο” πολιτισμού, οικολογίας και κοινωνικής συνοχής που θα συνδυάζει το παλιό με το νέο, το παραδοσιακό με το καινοτόμο.
Καλλιεργόντας κήπους, ελιές και φρούτα, μαζεύοντας άγρια χόρτα και βότανα η κάθε μέρα είναι διαφορετική! Γεμάτη όρεξη και διαφόρων λογιών εργασίες. ακολουθούμε την φύση και την βιοδυναμική-βιολογική καλλιέργεια. είναι στην διάθεση μας πως θα χειριστούμε τον χρόνο μας.
Μας αρέσει πολύ η μουσική, η πεζοπορία, η φύση, το κολύμπι, η ζωή!
Στο βουνό έχουμε πανέμορφα μέρη για πεζοπορίες αλλά και πισίνα για τις βουτιές μας το καλοκαίρι!
Το μαγείρεμα στα ξύλα και στον ξυλόφουρνο έχει άλλη γεύση και τα αγνά Κρητικά υλικά, κάνουν το φαγητό απόλαυση.

Working with George and at Pezoulia was one of the best experiences I have ever had! I stayed for a week in January and helped with the olive harvesting. It was wonderful to learn about the olives from George and about the town around where we were staying. Everything we ate was hyperlocal and very delicious. The accommodations were wonderful, and at every moment we were stunned with amazement. I can't recommend this stay enough! I will definitely be coming back :)

I have been very lucky that my first WWOOF experience brought me to Giorgos and his friends.
Perhaps it is in the nature of the Greek people, or of mountain people in general – I can’t say – but the people I met were exceptionally generous. For two weeks, I was treated to delicious meals, prepared by Giorgos’ mother and the cooks Popi and Rafael.
The group’s commitment to reviving the depopulated mountain villages, along with Giorgos’ deep knowledge of the olive tree, was truly inspiring.
