Our ‘farm` is a family one. We, my wife and myself, live in Saidona with our 2 children who go both at school . We begun in 2012 our ''adventure''.. Our house is at 600m elevation, with sea view and about 12 km by car reachable from sea coast towns, called Stoupa and Kardamyli. We export organic unfiltrated extra virgin olive oil to France, Germany, Belgium and UK. Work is to do with olive trees during winter and spring for pruning grass cutting etc. and also for harvest in november, december most time. Also in the aromatic fields (since 2017), in autumn and spring, and for harvest in june-july. Saponification when needed. Picking wood from fields, when there is to do. Embottling when it is the period (Feb, March, June, Sept. ).building a wood oven would be nice. Making our own honey is one of our projects. And also planting vineyard in order to make homemade wine. All of our 500 trees and fields are organic.. We also buy, when necessary, organic oil from other local producers and we inbottle and export it. Months Needed: October to june  Further information The help we need from WWOOFers is a rather physical-help one. But also volunteers will be granted with pedagogic learning and working in and with nature. We also are open to remarks, ideas, any other help or suggestion wwoofers want to provide here. We have a lovely dog 9years old and a cat 4years old. We do have 2 bicycles at disposal for the period if wwoofers wish to discover the beautiful landscape. Many Viros gorge, caves, towers, old monasteries, picturest villages and very nice beaches to visit. Organic methods: Organic fertilizers Certifications: TUV AUSTRIA Type of work: Current project: aromatic plants field. sage, thyme and oregano. Next year: bees to make honey again Internet access available

Was a pleasure to be able to spend the time at AgroMani with Tatiana & Jerome, both with the Olive harvest and helping to prepare their Sage & Thyme during the rainy days. There was great teamwork out in the olive groves to get everything done as efficiently as possible and going to the olive mill itself to process the sacks full of olives was pretty special. We really appreciated the tips on what to see in the local area, and the use of those bikes made it easy to see the local monasteries and lookouts too. The good conversation in the morning, and evening, around the kitchen table made the experience all the more special for us too. PS The wifi is only available in the main family area and a little outside, it’s not currently available in the WOOFing accomodation itself. Also, we had a hire car with us that made seeing a wider variety of places in the area possible too, and we’d recommend that if possible.

Jerome and Family life in Saidona a lovely tiny town up in the moutains but still close to the coast, so you can see a lot of the beautiful region of Mani. We felt very welcome in their family and had a great experience there. We visited them during the olive harvesting time. So our daily work was beeing with them on the olive fields. It's a hard work but we got used to it and it was always fun. We would recommened this farm.
