Really enjoyed my time at Nulifer's place, it is in a beautiful and peaceful location and really enjoyed hiking all the trails on my time off. The work on site was easy and the rest of the team were great to work with and very friendly. Would recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about the wine process, those looking to meet and work with a lovely team or who love the beautiful outdoors. The site is quiet remote so someone content with their own company in nature would be happiest.

I really loved my stay at Agrikea. Robbie and Haris are truly exceptional hosts who genuinely cared for my woofing experience. I spent a little over three weeks at Agrikea and learned so much about regenerative agriculture. Robbie has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. Work was hard at times but never felt like too much and was always very rewarding. My tasks included building stone walls / stairs, pruning trees, caring for the chickens, planting a garden and a bit of tree remediation from caterpillar attacks Beyond that, Agrikea is in a beautiful and tranquil location and on a hilltop with many ancient paths to walk and beautiful beaches I was able to visit in my free time with the chillest dog, Yano. I’m very grateful for my time at Agrikea and for the many laughs and deep, philosophical conversations we shared. Hope to return someday.

We loved our time with the olive harvest team on Kefalonia! We got to experience the harvest in full swing and had a lot of fun with the big team. Even with the hard physical work Themis and Theodoros made sure that everyone got enough time to relax. In the evenings after harvesting often we cleaned eggs and got to drive around the island with Themis, delivering eggs and visiting the olive oil press. We felt very much at home with Themis' family. The hospitality was outstanding and both food and accomodation was very good.

We had a truly amazing time at Kamara Garden. Markus and his family made us feel at home right from the start, and it was a pleasure working with him. We couldn't have imagined a better first WWOOF experience. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about permaculture, herbs and off-grid living in the relaxing and inspiring Cretan hills

I was with Wolfgang, Marina and the children from the end of January to the beginning of February and had a great time. The house I stayed in had everything I needed. It is heated with a stove. In winter, it can therefore be a bit cold at first. But once you've got the oven running and the thick stone walls heat up, it's very pleasant and cozy. Electricity and hot water come from the solar panels next to the house. If you have a lot of bad luck and the weather is bad for a long time, you may not have hot water. The house is located in the olive groves. From there you can hike well. You have to walk about half an hour to the next town. It is a bit isolated but I enjoyed the peace and quiet very much and was able to relax wonderfully. I was super well taken care of. On working days, there was always a very delicious meal at Marina and Wolfgang's home at lunchtime. Otherwise, you were provided with plenty of food. Marina also always asks if you need anything. My work was very varied. I built shelves for the house and racks for the outdoor kitchen. We made a new floor in the shed with stones, cement and took care of the trees. Sometimes the work was a bit chaotic and you had to improvise a bit or be spontaneous. Since Wolfgang usually had to get something for the projects, I sometimes was alone during the construction and worked independently. Wolfgang trusts you in this. I worked about 4-5 hours a day and had 2 days off a week. Most of the time we worked from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m....

We enjoyed our stay at Ioannis' plant nursery. We stayed for 3 weeks in January, it was at most 4 of us WWOOFers during this period. We were housed in a bungalow next to the greenhouse, and cooked our food in the shared kitchen. Ioannis' sister Litsa was taking care that we would not lack food and his mother Despina cooked for us multiple times tasty and typical Greek food. We were also sometimes invited to share the meals of the family, for example on January 1rst or Epiphany and we were explained a lot of traditions. The nursery is quite amazing and it is very pleasant to discover it if you like plants. However, as beginners, we felt like we had to be very proactive if we wanted to learn things. We worked from 8am to 2pm with a 30 minutes break at 11am, five days a week. The worked consisted mainly in repoting young plants or carrying boxes full of plants. After work, we were free to take the bikes (good ones in good shape), walk around or relax. It seems there are very often volunteers, especially in summer. We therefore think this wwoofing can be amazing if you want to meet other wwoofers from all over the world. If you are rather looking for wwoofings where you share the house and life of your hosts, perhaps you should try somewhere else. We are very thankful to Iaonnis, Litsa and Despina for their nice welcome!

We came in december for two weeks and really enjoyed our stay! We were housed by Stavros, who is an associate from Giorgos in their cooperative. We shared one big room with other volunteers, which was quite comfortable with a very nice chimney. The food was nice and entirely provided (either ingredients or cooked meals). We harvested olives, which we liked very much. We worked along with seasonal workers, who lived in a house next to ours. Work is pretty physical and days were longer than usual wwoofing recommandations (6-7h). But that is explained by practical reasons (fields are far from the house) and we had a lot of days-off (around three per week) to compensate. We learned a lot of fascinating things on olive trees, olive oil and bees thanks to Giorgos who has a passion for transmission, and on Greece thanks to Stavros, we are thankful for that! We could also visit the archeological site of ancient Messina as well as other castles or monastry thanks to our hosts. At the beginning of our stay, communication was not very fluid, but after discussing about it with Stavros, trust was built very easily. We'll keep a great memory of our stay, Thank you Stavros, Giorgos, Spiridoula and Elias!

Working with George and at Pezoulia was one of the best experiences I have ever had! I stayed for a week in January and helped with the olive harvesting. It was wonderful to learn about the olives from George and about the town around where we were staying. Everything we ate was hyperlocal and very delicious. The accommodations were wonderful, and at every moment we were stunned with amazement. I can't recommend this stay enough! I will definitely be coming back :)

Where to even start!❤️ My stay at Andreas place was beautiful and memorable. The nature felt big and strong and we lived by it. Andreas made me feel welcome and safe. He spoke good english and was caring host. I spent one month here and This was my very first wooffing experience. After waking up dogs and cats always came to say hi and give morning hugs. There was 5 days of work and 2 rest days in a week. We started working around 9 and before that we enjoyed breakfast and coffee with the view. We worked until lunch break. And then continued the work until something like 4pm. Days were different and the weater ruled our working hours. Some days we finished earlyer and some days later. In the evenings we played cards with other volunteers, baked, rested, ate more, watched a movie outside…… I got tired quite early and I did sleep like a baby until the moring light woke me up! The work we got to do (it was november) was mainly around olives: collecting, sorting, carrying, clening the branches and so on. There was also a bit of digging earth to save water. Digging dry plants and planting cactuses to prevent fire! The work was physical! Everything we did had holistic touch on it. It did feel like we are honouring and living with the nature. Andreas provided healhy and filling meals for us. Meriddean diet! Very delicious! He paid attention so that the food was well together with how the weather was. And he didn’t forget to treat us with sweets as well. Andreas is tr...

I wish to thank Nikos and Stathis and also their parner Zacki for their welcoming. It has been my first wwoof experience, from mid November to end December. We have worked well on many olives plants, plus saw the factory, made homemade Tsipouro, drinking homemade wine and so and so. You will be in the true greek countryside with a family of local farmers since generations, who will be able to teach about anything regarding their hobby. Your room is a rentroom for the summer, in a small village just on the seaside. The set of houses also with its garden (oranges, lemons...) will be your small village too. It could not has been more immersive for me. ευχαριστώ πολύ

I wish to thank Harris and Robby very much for their welcoming in Agrikea farm. There, you will be hosted as a tourist spending the summer in a room giving you a huge view of the sea and the mountains which composed nearly all the island. I spend 3 weeks, feeding the chickens the morning then gardening (taking out the bushes, dead plants), as the place needs to be well cuted and pruned for the high season. Of course, some rest days occured, giving you the oppurtunity to go to the port or either to some has to be seen sites, like Karthaia. ευχαριστώ πολύ !
